After been to Monaco yacht show 2008 I am pleased to be updated about the latest in the Superyacht world. I guess you are not in the luxury design business if you haven't been to the show. Definitely the height of luxury design represented. All from private aviation, tender yachts to mansions on the sea… However, I can’t wait for the Dubai International Boat show 2009. See you there.

INSPIRATIONAL PROJECT FROM UBICA
Loads of yachts these days are just in line with the same old fashion spirit since decades before. As you already know I am admirer of Igor Lobanov and the Wally design. Today I am adding a third creater to my favorites. It's the upcoming yacht studio UBICA in Barcelona. Sophisticated design with cocky execution. I look forward to see more from this incredible design studio.

BEAUTIFUL 36 METERS WALLY IN MONTE CARLO
This beautiful 36 meters Wally yacht was build in 2004, of course truly futuristic and got nice color setting. No doubt this is about cutting edge design, it's aggressive like a sword. My own reflection is: isn't Wally design a bit static? Or is it a provocation design? Sometime it feels like the designer just created the Wally in 3D and never through a sketch. I think its an interesting discussion, because in some 3/4 views of the Wally design it feels like art through stress. Or, am I wrong? However, I love Wally Yachts in terms of contrast architecture thinking. But there are still things I want to develop, on my sketching table I got a Wally inspired yacht with minimalistc inspiration with strong sustainability and recyclabe thinking.

TALENTED PERSIAN AUTOMOTIVE DESIGNER
To create stunning design results you have to be surrounded by talented professionals. This work is from an amazing sketcher. I got the pleasure to launch Farshad Abedi's design work. He is from Teheran (Iran) but currently located in Dubai for some design developments. However, we shared an amazing year together at the prestigious Domus Academy in Milano at the Car Design Department. And I cant wait to collborate again for new successful and sustainable concepts.

ST TROPEZ FOR YACHT INSPIRATION
To meet up the spring am currently in St Tropez (France) for a week. Among Mangusta yachts I found with passion a Wally. As you might already know am a fan of the Wally strictly design. Wally is one and only with true minimalism. But, why this military approach? The world needs peaceful simplicity, in my point of view.

105m AMAZING SUPERYACHT
Sometimes I asking myself why all yachts having the same aesthetical expression. This is one the few superyachts that represents amazing beauty and commicating geniune design passion. This is freedom for sure. However, this inspiration yacht was presented during Monaco Yacht Show last year and is a creation by Igor Lobanov. Totally amazing!
